Have Courage and Be Kind

Picture your world falling apart. Imagine how stressed you might feel. I’m sure you’ve been in one of those situations before. Wondering “why is this happening to me? Why does my world seem to be falling apart?”

Trust me, you’re not the only one who has been there. Some of us have a hard time noticing that the ones we love are going through something very similar.

One day you might be having a bad day. Your friends are there for you, they allow you to vent, cry, or even scream. You have had your friends and loved ones pick you up off the floor when you were down. It is also your duty to do the same for them when they are experiencing similar levels of hardship.

If you have a friend who is going through a rough patch in their lives, they may become increasingly rude or begin to be distant with you and your mutual friends. Don’t simply let them go and feel as if they’re not worth it. Be selfless. Be bold. Be kind.

Ask them what’s wrong, because guess what? If they have taken time out of their days in the past to remedy your pain, you should be doing the same for them.

Not doing so will make that friend believe that he or she is a burden, no one cares, and that no one is there for them. Never make someone feel small or any less than you. Bring others up.

Respect those around you, and if you don’t, then don’t refer to them as your “friends”.

Treat others how you want to be treated, and if you believe that your problems are worse, remember, everyone has to live with their own problems that affect each of us differently. We all experience the highs and lows in life and deal with them in the only ways we know.

Until next time, Z

XOXO
